Keep practicing between sessions!
First Tee participants have free access to the Barker Loop, our 3-hole practice course at Oak Hurst Golf Course in Bullard, TX. You’ll find it to the left of Putters Corner Cafe.
Bring some golf balls and check in at the pro shop before heading out.
Parents are encouraged to join the fun! We love seeing families enjoy golf together—building skills, making memories, and sharing a game they can play for a lifetime.

Keep the First Tee Fun Going!
Our regular classes return this Spring, but there are still ways to join the fun! Explore upcoming events where kids, teens, and families can play, connect, and celebrate with our First Tee community.
Check each event for age requirements and registration details. We’d love to see you there!
Seasonal Programs: Schedule & Weather Policy
Program Schedules
Spring and Fall sessions typically meet once a week for six weeks. Summer camps typically meet for four consecutive days within a single week. Please refer to each program’s registration details for its confirmed dates and schedule. Special events follow the schedules listed in their event details.
Spring & Fall Makeup Policy
First Tee — Greater Tyler guarantees at least five of the six scheduled classes. If one class is canceled, no makeup is scheduled. If two or more classes are canceled, we will arrange makeup opportunities to meet that guarantee.
Weather and makeup details for Summer camps and special events will be communicated separately.
Weather Cancellations
Cancellation decisions are made for each location based on weather conditions, lightning in the area, course or grounds conditions, and decisions made by the host facility or golf course. Participant safety guides these decisions.
We will notify families by email and through their class GroupMe when a class is canceled. Some cancellations may happen close to the start of class as conditions change.
Early Dismissal
If incoming weather requires us to dismiss early, a coach will call or text you. Please make sure we have your current contact information on file.
