Make-up and Weather Policy
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, some locations may decide to cancel classes. In the event a class is canceled, we will send an email and a text (if subscribed). There are some instances where the cancellation comes last minute as it is a course-by-course decision.
Dismissing Class Early
If we need to dismiss class early due to incoming weather, a coach from your child’s class will call or text you. Please make sure we have your preferred phone number on file.
First Tee — Greater Tyler guarantees at least five of the six classes registered for to be completed. This means that a class will not be made up until at least two classes are canceled.

Please do not call the golf course. We try to be good “guests” and it can be detrimental to their business if their phone lines are tied up with First Tee parent calls.
